About Vista International Operations

In 1998, Vista International Operations (Vista) was formed to provide Information Management service for the USDA’s Foreign Agriculture Service to Russia. On January 1, 2001, Vista became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bristol Bay Native Corporation (BBNC), an Alaska Native Corporation (ANC). On January 9, 2002 Vista received its 8(a) status to support Information Technology (IT) work. Since then, through the hard work and dedicated service of the Vista team members, we have grown significantly.
On January 9, 2011 Vista graduated from its 8(a) status.

Vista provides support and expertise in the following areas of Information Technology disciplines:

Key Services

We have a wide range of knowledge, resources, and skills, and a history of tackling tough projects, on time and on budget. Our common-sense solutions bring high praise from our customers. They demand excellence, and Vista International Operations delivers, providing Information Technology support around the world. From the remote corners of Alaska to the lower 48 states and around the world, Vista is building and maintaining critical information systems vital to the success and well-being of our soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines. Vista graduated from the Federal Small Business Administration 8(a) Program and Small Disadvantaged Business under NAICS code 541513 with multiple additional high-technology NAICS codes including 512191. While our primary customers are military and government, in recent years we have also begun to reach out to the private sector.

Our Native Roots

Being a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bristol Bay Native Corporation (BBNC) allows us to tap into the specialized talents and financial strength offered by our parent company, which represents thousands of employees and shareholders. The Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act of 1972 created 13 regional ANCs that are wholly owned by Native Alaska shareholders. The ANCs, and their respective subsidiaries, are certified as socially and economically disadvantaged business entities and, as such, are afforded special considerations under the Small Business Act and the Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR). Bristol Bay Native Corporation was formed as a part of the Alaska Native Lands Claim Settlement Act. Since then it has become involved as owner or investor in numerous business enterprises from information technology personnel services, environmental activities, fuels management, to the oil industry. Bristol Bay’s family of companies accounts for thousands of jobs and millions of dollars in annual payroll.

Award Winning Service

Vista received the SBA (Small Business Administration’s) Award of Excellence as a Prime Contractor in 2004. We received this award because of excellent delivery of support for our AST (Ammunition Support Team) and in-country Information Technology support to Camp Arifjan, Kuwait.

Vista has also received the San Antonio Business Opportunity Council (SABOC) award for dedicated support to the Air Force Center for Environmental Excellence (AFCEE). AFCEE currently manages over 2,400 separate projects, with a total value of $3.5 Billion, and a powerful software tool (Task Order and Project Package Wizard) developed by Vista is instrumental in the success of this on-going effort.

Vista International Operations is successful because we concentrate on what we know, and we stay ahead of the curve in our areas of expertise. Streamlining information processes saves time and money, and Vista can help.
